I think the state of this economy is garbage, it's simply a reflection of the way our government who thinks they know so much can't do a damn thing. They are literally running this country into the ground. It makes me sick. Obama, I actually thought he would fight to make changes but everything he has done has made everything worse, I am so horribly disappointed in him and the fact that he is not what he promised to be. In a country where material things seem tobe the most important thing to so may why can I not offer services to find a way to earn monay for a car? This whole thing just makes me sick. I haven't seen my children in almost a year because of the state of the economy although I have incredibly valuable services to offer in trade or to earn money no one can afford to do anything because the economy is essentially in forclosure. Now what "BIG BROTHER"? Now what? We are on the verge of becoming LESS than a 3rd world country SO I ASK NOW WHAT "BIG BROTHER" NOW WHAT????????

I am a hard working woman who has been working since the age of 15.  I think it is kind of sad that I loose my job and can't find work in five months.  I am losing my apartment and I can't get help and I don't have anywhere to go.   Everyone is so conserned about helping all of the other countries when hard working Americans, like myself, loose everything.   I am going to be living in my car because everyone that I have contacted that help people will only help if there are children involved.  This economy needs a jumpstart and the government should help thier own.

If I had a way to make a better income and provide for my family, that would make me a happy camper. making money with the internet? I - well - huh? Anyways,there has to be a silver lining somewhere.

So after a year on PROSAC, or should I call it yes mam and no sir or do this and do that (totally numbed)I wander back to an abuser I had been with and was in the process of fleeing from on that eventful night.Managed to get ssi took that 11000 check applied it toward a dump bought a van a couch and kitchen table BOY I HAD IT MADE 450 a month !!!!!!SSI as it was told to me ,"It is just a partial payment to help you get by ", it is not to help you live just to exist! Paralyzed,a lost lung ,no more promises to make to some fine chap "hey we can have a family",diagnosed with post traumatic stress syndrome (that war vets come home with after war" and it would have been great if my momma and daddy were there to help me as parents do for their kids But ...no they were not ,after all ....it was daddy's gun!
Welll to say the least I found a fine gentleman who was living at mama's to help his family and you know after a year and a half I had to let him go I mean people are nieve and wiyh my pain inside and ot I could have destroyed his hard working fanny oh not on purpose but people do break some for awhile and some forever well I opened his cage and set him free!!!!yah girl you go!!So alone 6 month and afriend set me up determined this guy was good just broke alittle ok ok he could not travele outside a certain area panick attacks....Sorry I am tired I must log out now catch you on the flip side!
Well I had a plan I 'd married so many times before what was one more OH yeah at least they might offer some comfort but this time I was determined to find the opposite of the previous husbands

Hey, I'm 21 and just a few days ago found out I'm pregnant... It's my first pregnancy and I am terrified, I have yet to tell anyone in my family due to some past issues that caused my family and I not to speak. The last thing I want to tell them is I am pregnant, I feel like that would kill them. I lost my job a week ago due to the economy and am desperately seeking one now. I live in an apartment out in Portland, Maine where as of right now I'm trying to sell things I have to make October's rent. I don't feel sorry for myself because I did this. But now I know I am going to be responisble for a little one, when I can barely afford myself. If anyone has any information as of what I can do, help I might be able to recieve, please let me know.

We have been caught in the declining economy. We are in deperate need of cash temporaily. My husband and I are both in our mid 50's and unemployed. My husband was recieveing unemployment extention and it was stopped with the goverment unsettlements.

I can't get unemployment since I have been unemployed for a while longer.

We have no cash flow right now. We do have money coming in a a bout 3 weeks, meanwhile we have nothing.

Can we get help somewhere. We don't qualify for loans since we are un employed.

Our rent is behind and our phone is off.

i am trying to get my ssi,and can't work.my girlfriend is currently looking for a job. are gbills are fixing to get shut off. i just need some help. please someone help us. we have 7 children and everyone says the economy is to bad to give her a job

I don't think so but my manager thinks it is as he has rented all the apartments now. To me that doesn't mean the ecomony is improving.

When I see people's stories, here on Aidpage,wishuponahero or a few other sites I visit people are still faced with needing to find work, having money for rent, utilities, food, need for new clothing, medicine, health insurance, food for their pets, help with phone and internet bills. Then if you are sick, disababled or have a child, loved one who is ill or terminally ill the problem is compounded. They don't feel the economy is improving. And the unemployment rates show that so why is my manger being fooled?

Even those who have jobs I know or have met still are struggling making ends meet. I think it is better to have a job than not have one. 

Then you can apply for section 8 or hud housing but there is a waiting list sometimes it take years others maybe a year if you find a city that has a shorter waiting list but some people can't wait that long. 

I really wish it would start improving for all of us as it hurts to see people hurting even though I can offer assistance here, tell people about Aidpage in hopes they might be able to get help they didn't know about. 

I wish I could do a heck of a lot more finanicially to help others out. 

We all know what the world’s impact is on how money is being spent. It is feed to us every night at our local news or national news. But have you ever thought about what is your economy? What do you need to do to survive? What are you doing to save money? How is your defecate going down? Do you have a set budget for the next year or the next five years?

One of the biggest problems that I see everyone have, is we keep paying attention to the world’s economy and how it’s impacting the neighborhood you live in. Even what your state is doing. But in reality we all need to start paying attention to our own personal economy.

I know what were supposed to do in a national level. And in the state level is very obvious to see. But you have to break it down to your personal level. You have to start looking at your money and control it to your standards and your needs.

When you spend money, how is it impacting your wallet? What is the kind of things that you are buying for your home or how are you managing things around you? Can you look at the next year and tell yourself that you can make it towards the end of the year? How are you planning to pay off the debt? Can you change to make your economic factors change in your life?

We keep getting pushed the information of the world economy and changes have to take place and wants and have to need to be fulfilled. But in the real world, you have to see how it’s going to impact you. Where is your future laying? What do you have to do to make your economy work for you?

So my friends, we all have bills, defecate going up and money is short. But if you step back a little and look at the impact of your economic stage. Then you will realize that your economy is more important right now then the world’s economy. It all comes down to what we personally are doing to help make the rest of the world economy work right.

Impact your economy today, make that budget and stick to it. Pay the bill off to help things out. Pay attention to your wants and needs instead of the world’s wants and needs and overall everything will turn out fine for your economic adventures of the world. 

I'm a single mom of two boys (17 & 12), and work in the construction industry.  The last two months have been slow due to weather and the economy.  The only thing I've been able to pay is my rent, and my car needs major repairs, it's our only form of transportation.  I don't know how much longer it will hold out.  If anybody is willing to help out, we would be so grateful.  Wish I didn't have to even try this, but no other options at this point.  Thank  you and God bless.

my husband and i lost everything two years ago, we now live in a travel trailer next to his mom and dad. their health has degenerated in the last year, we take care of them now. we have little income and no money for christmas. we have eight children between us and have 15 grandchildren. we would love to give them gifts for christmas as we have done in the past, but as i said their is no monet for christmas

Starting over is sometimes difficult.  After re-locating based on a decline in the Economy in Lansing, Michigan.  I have found Traverse City, MI to be just as bad.  Two jobs I have worked have gone out of business.

 As an online student with University of Phoenix and past employment in computers - there is optimism of a return to steady work.

Recieving food assistance and utility assistance for the first time in life.  It is a very humbling experience to need this.  Also very eye opening as I see so many people in need.

For those of you that are facing hardships in your life. The cold hard truth that you must keep in mind is that with today’s economy you are just one in a million. We can stay down and wait for someone to pick us up or we can pull ourselves up and look for ways to keep standing. If you are on this site then you must have a computer. If you have a computer then that my friend is a window to the world! There are many ways to make money without ever leaving your home. From google to ebay you can with a little time and effort find your way to  financial freedom. Just remember to be focused and do your research.  Good Luck!
